A large ceiling tile made from earthware and  painted in a red and white diamonds shape . In the middle of the tile it has a mark of a castle. Spain around 1500 . Good condition for this age , frame is modern. Sizes including the frame : H 50 x L 42,5 x D 3,7 cm

In general these sorts of tiles were used on the ceiling not only for decorative aspects also as a fire slowdown.
