Monetary Scale, Germany, 1782
Monetary scale complete with its 16 weights, its balance and four small brass sheet weights kept in a seventeenth housing with lid.
The set is signed "Joh. Pet. Braselmann auf Wichlinghausen in Oberbarmen [today this city constitutes one of the districts of the current Wuppertal in North Rhine-Westphalia]", dated the year "1782" and bears the maker's stamp.
A very beautiful set, perfectly preserved, in its original box.
